Caring for Your Hand-Marbled Garment

Hand marbling creates a unique pattern on every garment. Swirls, pattern placement, and tonal variation are natural features of the process.

First wash and everyday care

• Hand-bucket wash in cold water with a light detergent.
• Do not use bleach.
• Wash separately from light-coloured items.

Drying and storage

• Air-dry.
• Fold and store away from direct light.

Natural marbling and colour transfer

Natural marbling variation is the individual pattern and tonal variation created during the making of each piece. Dye bleeding is colour transferring during washing. Our hand-marbled garments do not bleed.
